David Archuleta: The Other Side of Down Asian Tour Edition

Monday. July 18, 2011. 8PM. David Archuleta had his solo major concert at the Araneta Coliseum. This was his third time to visit Philippines but it was just my first time to watch him perform live. My cousin (Ate Nikka) and I arrived at the Big Dome around 6pm. We had our early dinner first then proceeded on the line at the red gate. There were free cold Coke for all the concert-goers. I was surprised to see Alyssa on the line, with her friend Ynna, next to us. 

 

The gate opened at exactly 7pm. We bought some popcorn and waited on our seats. An hour of waiting was worth it when the show began. 

Julie Ann San Jose served as the opening/front act on David Archuleta's concert. JA is really awesome! I'm a big fan! She sang 5songs: (1)Edge of Glory (2)Decode (3)Super bass (4)Written in the stars (5)California King Bed
She tripped a bit while she was dancing into one of her song numbers, but she managed it well. She's really great! *applause!*

When she's done with her performance, the crowd started screamin' David's name. It took quite a while before he came out on the stage. But the show's definitely worth the wait! He sang these songs acc.:

That's it! He said his final message & left the stage w/ the band. The crowd started to scream "WE WANT MOOORE!", and they shouted it over & over again. No one even dared to leave their seats. T'was like everyone's thinking & expecting that he's gonna come back on stage. True enough, after few minutes, David came back again! :)

He's really sweet! :)

His last two songs are "Heaven" (he's a Bryan Adams fan) and his hit single, "Crush."
